Terms of Use for Migora
Migora is a diary, not a doctor. It helps you record what happens to you — it does not diagnose anything, and it should never delay you from getting medical care.
Your entries live on your device. That means they are private, and it also means keeping them safe is partly up to you.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and the developer of Migora ("we", "us"). They apply when you download or use the Migora app for iPhone ("the app"). By using the app, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
How we handle data is described separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
1. Who provides Migora
Migora is built and published by an independent developer. There is no company behind the app — it is a solo project.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Migora. If you are younger, you may only use the app with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and only where local law permits.
3. Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Usage Rules in Apple's App Store Terms of Service. This licence is for your own personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- copy, resell, rent, sublicense or distribute the app;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it;
- remove or obscure any copyright or other proprietary notices;
- use the app to break the law, or to interfere with its security or normal operation.
4. Migora is not medical advice
This is the most important section of these Terms.
Migora is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or health condition. Nothing in the app is medical advice.
- Any patterns, correlations, summaries or reports the app produces are descriptive observations about the data you entered. They are not a clinical finding, and a correlation the app shows may be coincidental.
- The medication list built into the app is a convenience for logging what you took. It is not a recommendation, a dosing instruction, or an endorsement of any medicine. Always follow the instructions from your doctor, pharmacist and the medicine's own labelling.
- PDF reports are intended to help you have a better conversation with a healthcare professional. They are not a diagnostic document and should be interpreted by a clinician.
- Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you saw in Migora.
If you have a sudden, severe or unusual headache, or symptoms such as weakness, confusion, vision loss, difficulty speaking, a stiff neck with fever, or a headache following a head injury, seek emergency medical help immediately. Do not use this app to assess an emergency.
You are responsible for any decision you make based on data you keep in the app.
5. Your data and your responsibility for it
Your entries belong to you. We do not claim ownership of anything you record in the app, and we have no access to it.
Because Migora stores your diary on your device, you are responsible for keeping backups. If you lose your device, reset it, or delete the app without sync enabled, your entries are gone and we cannot recover them — we never had a copy. Enabling iCloud sync and keeping regular device backups is the practical way to protect your history.
We are not liable for loss of data resulting from device failure, loss or theft, operating system updates, your own deletion of data, or problems with iCloud or other Apple services.
6. Migora Pro subscriptions
Migora is free to download and includes core diary features. Migora Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features.
- Plans. Pro is offered as a monthly and a yearly subscription. A free trial is available on the yearly plan only.
- Payment. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive or handle your payment details.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and you are charged. If you subscribe during a trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited.
- Cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro features until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Where Apple requires it, you will be notified and asked to consent before a price increase takes effect for your subscription.
- If Pro ends. Your diary data remains on your device. Pro-only features such as sync and PDF export stop working, but nothing you recorded is deleted.
7. Changes to the app
We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop supporting older versions of iOS. We may also discontinue the app entirely. If we discontinue it, we will make a reasonable effort to give advance notice in the app so that you can export your data first.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its name, design, interface and content (other than your own entries) are owned by us and protected by copyright and trade mark law. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defect will be corrected, or that the weather data provided through Apple's services will be accurate or available.
Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country, which may give you guarantees we cannot exclude.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising out of your use of the app.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 13 survive termination.
12. Apple App Store terms
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. The following also applies:
- Maintenance and support. We are solely responsible for support for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services.
- Warranty. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the app infringes that party's intellectual property rights.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app changes. The current version is always available at migora.app/terms. For material changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that constitutes acceptance.
15. Contact
